Azotic was formed to introduce sustainable biofertilizer options around the world, with a global office in York, UK and North American offices in California, USA and Ontario, Canada. Azotic has taken more than 20 years of academic research to become a global leader in N-fixing technology. Azotic is focused on the development and commercialization of technology which supports on-farm profitability and sustainability.

Azotic's flagship technology is a unique, patented strain of Gluconacetobacter diazotrophicus (Gd), a nitrogen-fixing bacteria capable of converting atmospheric nitrogen into a usable form for multiple crop species.

Gd was first commercialized in 2019. State-of-the-art facilities located in York, UK, allow for continuing research and development. The patented technology is manufactured in the UK and distributed to markets globally in 3 unique formulations:
